Our Team

The Acquila team has senior level experience from the energy, infrastructure and finance sectors. Collectively the team is well qualified to contribute to Acquila’s goal of making a material contribution towards the transition to a net zero carbon economy. Our team has worked across a wide range of geographies and cultures and collectively have decades of experience in the delivery management throughout the project lifecycle for solar, wind and waste to energy projects, from consenting and design through to construction, installation and operations and maintenance.


Gerard Nicholas, Finance

Gerard Nicholas has over 35 years post qualification experience in banking and financial services specialising in real estate transactions. He has a business degree from Trinity College Dublin and qualified as a chartered accountant with PWC. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Telescombe Cliffs Capital, managing director of a Turkish bank and a senior manager with Investment Bank of Ireland in the UK/Ireland. He is a non executive Director of a number of investment funds domiciled in Ireland and other jurisdictions.

Haingo has 20 years of experience in the financial sector spanning the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East within investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, real estate and hedge funds. Over the years Haingo has established a wide range of investor relations and a professional network in the banking and financial industry globally. He is a recognized and trusted financial advisor to very high net worth investors and institutions in the Middle East and across the Asia Region. Haingo graduated in 1997 from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College Hanover, NH, US with a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in General Management and Finance. Haingo is fluent in Malagasy, French and English

Yang Hormat Dato' Sri Noor Muzammil , Automotive and Energy

Yang Hormat Dato' Sri Noor Muzammil is a Malaysian national with two decades of experience in automotive and energy sectors.  Muzammil commenced his career with British Gas PLC in London, where he headed and managed all aspects of Downstream Gas Distribution Networks, Head the Operations including Construction, Plant and Projects Division; and with ESSO Production (M) Inc. (1990 to 1995) in Malaysia, where he managed various Civil Engineering Projects on Esso's oil and gas platforms in the South China Sea. In early 1995, he was selected by the Chairman of DRB-HICOM Conglomerate to manage Special Projects for the Group and was entrusted to initiate and implement the National Car Project with the establishment of Proton Automotive National Berhad in collaboration with PSA Citroen International.

Hon. Dato’ Sri holds a double degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering. He graduated from Kingston University, England.


Sid Amin, Strategy

Siddharth Amin has many years of experience in investment banking including in senior positions in the areas of investment analysis, equity derivatives, convertible bonds, structured products, arbitrage trading and corporate finance. His career has consistently involved management responsibility for new product development and implementation of related technology platforms. Sid has held various senior positions, over a ten year period, in investment banking at HSBC in London, culminating in the post of Director, Head of Structuring, Equity-Linked Capital Markets. In this role he advised companies globally on equity-linked financings totalling around USD 4.5 billion in Europe, Asia and the US. Through this he has gained considerable exposure to emerging markets, including India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel, Egypt and Greece. Siddharth is a chartered accountant (trained and qualified with KPMG) and attained an MA degree from the University of Cambridge in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics.

Adrian King , Indonesia Portfolio Head

After a diverse upbringing and graduating from the London School of Economics, Adrian started his career in Private Equity & Venture Capital for leading banks and boutique firms across London, Monte Carlo and Frankfurt, then founded, ran and exited a number of innovative start-ups.  Over the past decade Adrian has focused on deal making and/or development management for top-end real estate projects, resorts and private estates, across Indonesia, Thailand, Germany and Argentina.  Originally from downtown NYC.  Fluent English, German, French and Indonesian.


Ranjit Krishna, Advisor East Africa

Two decades in South/South-East Asia as a senior executive building extremely profitable, global businesses and high-performance teams in trading marketing and distributing commodities ranging from agro-produce to steel, ores, minerals, fertilizers, aviation Fuel and Petro-chemicals. Established and headed an international trading company with revenues of USD 600m per annum.
